GTL complies to all the requisite conditions to operate. We are proud that not even a single day’s productivity has been lost since its existence due to environmental mishap or non-compliance. No penalties have been imposed due to any sort of non-compliance.
 
GTL has been abiding by all the legal requirements and no legal action by the Pollution Control authorities in respect of the management of environmental issues / concerns of the industry pending or faced by the company.
We adhere to all the environment related laws of the government and also comply with some additional guidelines.
Environmental Clearance from State Government as well as MOEF
As per the new directives from MPCB, consent to operate under environment protection is applicable to GTL. GTL has achieved the consent and is valid for operation.
Validity of consents under water and air act from state control pollution board
GTL Limited fulfills the entire legal requirement to meet the commitment towards stakeholders and to the Eco-efficiency as per the strategy of Clean & Green is Profitable.

Comply with the consent/authorization conditions as specified.
Comply with the prescribed effluent/emission standards.
Ensure proper handling of hazardous wastes
Ensure packaging labeling and transportation of hazardous wastes in accordance with the provision of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
Sharing of Market Intelligence
Maintain records of hazardous wastes generated at the facility in the prescribed form.
Submit returns regarding disposal of hazardous wastes to the SPCB in the prescribed form.
Maintain records of hazardous wastes generated at the facility in the prescribed form.
Furnish information regarding notification of a major accident, occurred at the site or in a pipeline involving specified hazardous chemicals to the concerned authorities in the prescribed form.
Ensure transportation of specified hazardous chemicals as per the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
Draw insurance policies and pay annual insurance premium for the liability to provide relief under the Public Liability Insurance Act, 1991.
