Dr. Mahesh M. Borase

		Independent Director Dr. Mahesh M. Borase, aged 59 years, holds PhD in Management, Post Graduate Degree in Financial Management and Bachelors in Textile Technology. With a blend of academia and 35 years of professional experience across leading Corporates and Management Institutes like Raymond, Ashok Leyland Finance, Cholamandalam Group and Welingkars Institute of Management Development, he has also contributed as Senior Management Consultant. Dr. Mahesh M. Borase is also a specialist in Corporate Services for effecting Business Revival & Turnaround and Financial Planning. Leveraging his academic qualifications, teaching background and corporate experience, Dr. Borase has developed training modules for working professionals in financial management. He has conducted workshops for various companies like Tata Motors, L&T, ION Exchange and Banks like Central Bank of India and Bank of India for Learning and Development of staff. Dr. Mahesh M. Borase has authored several Articles, Research Papers and is a recipient of State and National level awards.

Hemant Desai

		Independent Director : Mr. Hemant Desai, born on 16th March, 1962, is an Arts graduate with specialization in Economics. He is the Promoter Director of Tradewell International Pvt. Ltd. (an Indo-Saudi joint venture group). Mr. Desai has extensive experience in Distribution and Marketing and Supply chain management. He has successfully advised several Electronic and FMCG companies in setting up their supply chains and distribution networks. Mr. Desai has also contributed towards developing export markets particularly in Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Nepal for his clients.

Prof. Shamkant B. Navathe

		Independent Director : Prof. Navathe was born on September 23, 1945. He is a Ph.D from the University of Michigan, USA and MS in Computer and Information Science from Ohio State University, Columbus and a BE in Electrical Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has been a member of the Board since July 30, 2001 as an independent director. Dr. Shamkant Navathe is currently a professor at the College of Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta. He is known for his work on database modeling, database conversion, database design, distributed database fragmentation, allocation, and redesign, and database integration. He has worked with IBM and Siemens in research divisions and has been a consultant to various companies, including Honeywell, Nixdorf, CCA, ADR, Digital, MCC, Harris, Equifax and Hewlett-Packard. Prior to his current position, Dr. Navathe was with the Database Systems Research and Development Center and was a Professor of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Florida in Gainsville (1979-1990). He was on the faculty of New York University's Graduate School of Business Administration (1975-79) and a system engineer for IBM World Trade Corporation and Electronic Data Systems. He has co-authored the book,"Fundamentals of Database Systems", with R. Elmasri, (Edition 5, 2007) which is currently the leading database textbook worldwide. He also co-authored "Conceptual Database Design: An Entity-Relationship Approach" with Carlo Batini and Stefano Ceri in 1992. Dr. Navathe has over 150-refereed journal and conference publications. He is known for his research work on Database Modeling and Design, Data Conversion and Integration, and Manufacturing and Bio-informatics applications. He is on the advisory board of the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) at Pune.

Vijay M Vij

		Independent Director : Mr. Vijay M Vij, is a Practicing Chartered Accountant and has an experience of over 18 years in almost every facet of taxation, auditing and consulting profession. Mr. Vijay is a commerce graduate from Mumbai University and became Chartered Accountant from ICAI in 1995. Mr. Vijay is the Managing Partner of P. Parekh & Associates, Chartered Accountants, and is an expert in Direct Taxation, Valuations, Financial Modeling, Business consultancy and M & A. He has effectively advised several companies on business restructuring and start up ventures, and helped them compete in tough Business Environment. He has hands on experience in providing advice on tax efficient entry strategy for India, transfer pricing and tax treaty implications

Sanjana Pawar

		Independent Director : Mrs. Sanjana Pawar, aged 53 years is a Commerce Graduate from Mumbai University and has earlier worked with Shamrao Vithal Co-operative Bank. Earlier she was also an Independent Director in Chennai Network Infrastructure Limited during 2015-2017.

Jyotisana S. Kondhalkar

		Independent Director : Ms. Jyotisana S. Kondhalkar, aged 43 years is a member of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, since 2005. In the legal field, she has experience of around 19 years including in the office of M/s. Vigil Juris, Mumbai for 11 years. In her professional capacity, she appears before various Courts / Forums for representing matters involving Civil, Criminal, Labour, Contracts, Debt recovery, Arbitration and Other legal disputes.

Mrs. Rufina Fernandes

		Whole-time Director : Mrs. Rufina Fernandes, aged 59 years, is a Postgraduate in International Business & Human Resources, and also holds a PG Diploma in Education for Peace and PG Diploma in Management of Education. She has over 36 years of experience across multiple domains namely, Telecom, Education, Animation, Staffing and Information Technology. In the Telecom domain she has held senior level positions in the companies providing Telecom Tower and Maintenance Services, which includes GTL Ltd. as well. The assignments handled by her ranges from Project Execution, Strategy, Planning and Development, Human Resource, Corporate Communication, Branding, Advocacy and Corporate Social Responsibility. She was the first CEO, NASSCOM Foundation the non-profit arm of the Indian IT Industry and also the CEO of the Indian Staffing Federation in Delhi. She was the Chairperson, Cricket Association for the Blind of Maharashtra (CABM). She was also the Chairperson, All India Chess Federation for the Blind (AICFB) from 2002-2006. During her tenure, the AICFB hosted the Asian Chess Championship for the Blind as well as the Chess Olympiad for the Blind in India.

		Chairman & Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director: Mr. Gunasingh, aged 76 years, has over 40 years of corporate experience in the fields of secretarial, corporate governance, legal and taxation. He is graduate in Science and Law and also Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He in his career has handled several professional assignments that include managing affairs of boards and shareholders of large public listed companies, handling of issues for raising funds through equity and debt instruments in the domestic market and bonds issues in the international markets; merger, demerger and takeover of companies; establishment of globally recognized corporate governance practices; legal representation before the Income-tax Appellate Tribunal and Company Law Board; practiced as Advocate; and authored a book on taxation. He is designated partner in Sagar Resources LLP.

Navin J. Kripalani

		Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director: Mr. Navin Kripalani, aged 75 years, a science graduate, is a Mentor and Advisor for young companies looking for exponential growth. Private Bike share, Interiors, Medical Imaging are some of the companies, he is involved with. His guidance is towards organizational set-up, funding and Marketing. He specializes in managing cultural changes, critical appraisal of business, getting processes into your DNS, assessing & profiling human resource needs and strategic business initiatives. He was the President of TiE, Pune Chapter during 2010 & 2011. He is one of the Founders, and a Governing Council Member, of Innovations Pune, a part of the Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. group. He was also Managing Director of Kilobytes India Ltd., a company manufacturing and exporting 1 Million 5.25” Floppy Discs every month.

She possesses experience in travel, tour and hospitality for about 15 years, including as an independent consultant for about 8 years.

Charudutta Naik, COO

Mr. Naik is a B.E. in Electronics & Telecom and has an overall experience of over 20 years in the Network Services space, and has held several key positions in various telecom and system integration companies. He has a keen understanding of the Telecom Services space. As Chief Operating Officer, his key responsibilities include Strategy, Globalization and inorganic growth initiatives.

He had earlier worked with companies like Crompton Greaves and Unitel Communications He has extensive experience in enterprise switching business, and had played a vital role in introducing Fourth Generation Voice Switches in India in 1995, and introduction of First Private Feature Transparent Network in India.

S.K. Roy, COO, GTL Limited

Mr. S K Roy as Chief Operating Officer is responsible for Managing Growth, Profitability and Operations of the Company.

Mr. Roy has an overall experience of over 27 years in Business Management, Strategic Planning, Sales and Marketing in IT services, Telecom & System Integration industries.

He has been associated with GTL for over 13 years and has worked as an Operational Head as well as pioneered & headed the Company’s Consumer Telecom Business. Mr. Roy served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO), prior to taking on his current role. In the past he has worked with companies like Philips and AT&T.

Mr. Roy holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Bachelors degree in Engineering and Master of Engineering from Calcutta University.

L.Y. Desai, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, GTL Limited

Mr. L Y Desai as Deputy Chief Operating Officer is responsible for Managing Growth, Organizational Processes and New Business Opportunities for GTL worldwide.

Mr. Desai, with more than 25 years of post qualification experience, has led all the facets of Marketing Strategy, with emphasis on Business Sustainability, Industry Leadership, and Newer Markets. He has also discharged responsibilities as Group Financial Controller from 1992-1998, setting up of North American Business operations for the company, spearheading Investor relations and International Capital Markets and lately as Global Head for sales and Marketing.

Mr. Desai by qualification is a commerce graduate from Mumbai University, besides Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary.

H.K.Gohil, President - Telecom Engineering

Mr. Gohil is a B.E. in Electronics and has an experience of over 20 years, having spent his entire career in the telecom and associated technologies. In a career spanning over 11 years at GTL, Mr. Gohil has held several key leadership roles including heading the delivery. In his current role, he is responsible for handling the telecom engineering business.

He has experience in almost all the facets of business ranging from delivery, business development, pre sales to International business, and enjoys extensive relationships with global leaders like Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola, Nortel, Alcatel etc.

Pinakin Gandhi, Head International Business

Pinakin Gandhi has over 15 years of experience in Corporate Management. He brings with him a wealth of experience in Strategic Planning, Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions and Organizational Re-Engineering.

He acts as an interface between the various stakeholders and senior management. His keen acumen, foresight, and understanding of business environment have helped the Group charter its strategy. Pinakin Gandhi is an Electronics Engineer and MBA.

Rahul Desai, Vice President – Investor Relations and Capital Markets

Rahul Desai holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and a Master's in Management Science from Bombay University. He has an overall experience of over a decade in Corporate Management. He has been associated with GTL for over a decade and has held several important assignments in Risk Management, Legal, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

CS Vidyadhar Apte – Company Secretary and Compliance Officer

Mr. Vidyadhar A. Apte as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer is heading the Company Secretariat, Corporate Governance and Legal Department.

Mr. Apte has an experience of over 32 years of which about 28 years as Company Secretary handling various capital market issues such as Public Issue, Rights Issue, Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds Issue and Private Placement of shares with foreign investors. He has also handled critical issues in the secretarial field such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Demergers, Buyback of Equity Shares, Delisting of Securities from Stock Exchanges and also played key role in the promoters open offer of equity shares.

He is associated with GTL for over 22 years.

Mr. Apte is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), New Delhi. He is also a post graduate in Commerce and holds a degree in Law.

S.K.Roy – COO- International Operations

Mr. S K Roy as COO – International Operations is responsible for Managing Growth, Profitability and Operations of the Company Internationally.

Mr. Roy has an overall experience of over 30 years in Business Management, Strategic Planning, Sales and Marketing in IT services, Telecom & System Integration industries.

He has been associated with GTL for over 19 years and has worked as an Operational Head as well as pioneered & headed the Company’s Consumer Telecom Business. In the past he has worked with companies like Philips and ET&T.

Mr. Roy holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Bachelors degree in Engineering and Master of Engineering from Calcutta University.

Eugene Valles , Vice President, Human Resources

Eugene Valles heads the Human Resources function at GTL Limited and is focussing on implementing the best HR practices for the organization.

Eugene has an overall experience of over 16 years. Prior to GTL he has worked in companies like Searle India Limited and Ciba Vision.

He has expertise in areas like Organization Development, Talent Management and Recruitment.

Eugene is a MBA from the Goa Institute of Management and a B.Sc. from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

Milind Bapat , Chief Financial Officer

Milind Bapat heads the Finance function at GTL. His areas of expertise include corporate finance, accounts, banking, general accounting & management information system, budget and costing and capital re-structuring.

He has an overall experience of over 25 years. Prior to joining GTL in 1999, he was associated with companies like Dr. Writer’s Food Products Ltd., M/s. Borkar & Muzumdar, and a company manufacturing Bulk Drug.

Milind Bapat is a C.A. and Commerce Graduate.

Nitin Mandavkar , Group Head, Treasury

Nitin Mandavkar heads the Treasury Operations for the Global Group including GTL.

Nitin has over 18 years of experience in treasury and finance and has been instrumental in raising bonds, and external commercial borrowings to meet the acquisition targets and business expansion requirements of the Group.

Nitin Mandavkar, is a Post Graduate n Business Management from Wellingkar Institute.

Deven Buch, Business Head, OME

Deven Buch leads the sales, presales and operations functions of GTL Ltd for the telecom business In India.

Deven is associated Global Group for over 18 years, starting his career with GTL as a management trainee. He has served across various functions like heading International Sales, Business Development for Professional Services and Transmission business.

Deven Buch is a B.E in Industrial Electronics and MBA from University of Pune.
