We reward employees' contributions which is a significant aspect of Talent Development
is the Awards scheme. The awards scheme was launched at GTL during the year 2001-2002
with the objective of fostering an achievement-oriented culture. It is intended
to recognize efforts, performance and achievements towards corporate goals.

Our performance managements is designed to be an objective and a result oriented.
Managers are responsible for helping staff to improve their performance and capability
through continuously setting goals, coaching, appraising and communicating.

There are a host of award categories like the Quarterly awards that comprise of
Employee of the Quarter, Passion for Action (Individual & Team), Annual awards,
Individual - Employee of the Year, Branch/ Division - Best Branch of the Year, Best
Division of the Year , Best Support Team; Most Profitable Sale of the year; Strategic
Sale of the Year, Best Pre-sales Team; Best Systems & Processes; Technological Excellence
award.

In the year 2003-04, a special award has been launched under the scheme - the GTL
"Lady of the Year" award. This is to honor women employees who have distinguished
themselves in the arena of work, achieved functional excellence and demonstrated
leadership and commitment.
