| Starting from the basics, we have maintained a green campus. We have planted a number of trees in and around the campus not merely for decorative purposes but also to provide an environment with clean air to our employees and the society. We have also taken efforts to green the open spaces opposite GTL office at Mahape on land leased by MIDC. |

| GTL also complies with all Indian environmental laws that are applicable to GTL such as, Environmental Protection Act Second Amendment Rules, 2002, Environmental Protection Act Third Amendment Rules, 2002, Hazardous Waste Management, Batteries Management and Handling Rules, 2000. |

Reduction in Electricity consumption: Electricity Consumption reduction achieved in year 06-07 is around 7% vis-à-vis previous year consumption |

Reduction of Paper Consumption: Paper consumption Reduction achieved in year 06-07 is 33 % vis-à-vis previous year |

Reduction of Diesel consumption and Carbon dioxide emissions: Diesel consumption reduction achieved in year 05-06 is approx 135120 liters/year by modifying VAM M/C & commissioning of chiller. Consequently it has reduced Carbon dioxide emission due to diesel combustion |
